Frequently asked questions

What is Digital Painting?

Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Traditional painting is painting with a physical medium as opposed to a more modern style like digital. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create digital painting directly on the computer. All digital painting programs try to mimic the use of physical media through various brushes and paint effects.

Are your Rebbe Canvas art prints considered giclées and what is a giclées?

Yes, our wall art prints are giclée prints. Giclée is a term used for high quality, archival quality fine art prints on canvas or fine art paper. The term giclée is often used to differentiate from an archival print from lower quality prints. Our prints are made with carbon based pigments and laminated to prevent scratching.

What sizes and prices do you offer?

We offer three sizes: 12″ x 16″ ($149.00), 16″ x 20″ ($195.00) and 20″ x 24″ ($285.00). Measure your wall space to make sure you have enough room for these large prints.

How long until I receive my order?

We print each piece fresh as we get an order, so your art doesn’t sit in a warehouse getting dusty. It usually takes 3-5 business days to prepare your print, stretch on a frame, then UPS (or Fedex in the US) Ground travel time. Most orders will arrive within 16 business days and often sooner. Contact us if you have a specific time frame and we will do our best to meet your needs.

What is the depth of the canvas?

All of our canvases are gallery wrapped (the images is printed on the sides also) with 0.75″ deep sides. This is a very contemporary, modern look with optional framing.
